That is such a great way to spend time with God!My nature is that I'm a night owl, and I do all my best thniknig when it's dark and all is quiet. So at night before I go to sleep, I pray and read (right now I'm going through Proverbs) and I sometimes write poetry or just little "letters" to God. And lastly, I just talk to him. I find just telling God about my fears and thanksgiving is just so vital to me.Thank you so much for your beautiful post!!

I am praying for you all in your setrgglus. i am 66 and have been where you are except I didn't have to juggle work and raising children too. God knows people's hearts and He is loving each of you and right beside you because you are reaching out to Him. Maybe some praise music to listen to on the way to work would be helpful, radio or CD? Maybe just a written list of praises each day would help focus on His love for you. God truly will take care of you and knows what you are going through. I am so happy to see women responding in this on line Bible study because I am hoping we can continue when this one is complete. It is my inspiration every day and I am finding it is just the thing for me. Thank you Susan!

Through this bible school, I was able to study every srruptice on every fundamental subject of christianity. Having such a clear understanding of God's word on every matter, has helped me to decisively take action to align my heart with God's heart. Before studying the srruptices in a systematic, logical, and honest manner, I never understood that one choice to sin separated me from God for eternity. I quickly proved to myself from srruptice that God does not tolerate sin and His stance on sin has always been the death penalty. That is how serious sin is the only thing that can separate us from God is our choice to rebel: sin. I now understand that blood has always been required to cover sin and I learned the wonderful news of the perfect once and for all blood atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross, offered freely to all that come to Him and that God is willing to pardon us if we turn completely from all (100%) sin [true repentance], humble ourselves and ask Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior [faith in Jesus Christ] and follow Him in holiness continually conforming to His holy character. I now thoroughly understand that sin is a choice and that it is possible to overcome every temptation by choosing to obey the word of God and that the Lord provides abundant Truth and help by His Holy Spirit of Truth. I learned God does everything He can to help, but we are free-will beings made in the image of God and accountable for our own choices. I praise God that I am a free man now and I freely choose to serve Him in loving obedience. I encourage you to hear Him.

Excellent post. This is our second year hcoseohmoling. We pulled our then 8 year old son out of a failing (financially, morally, socially, etc ) public school setting to homeschool him. Prior to this, we prayed and saught the Lords will and wisdom. I must say that although we know it was the BEST thing to do for him and for the family as a whole, we struggled or I should say I struggled with the public school perception, meaning- I was always worried my son, a gifted, Dyslexic/Dysgraphic, would not be at the same academic level as his public school peers. I wanted my homeschool to run like a public school and I was so, so wrong about my approach. The Lord had to re-align my thinking and I had to repent of some behaviors and attitudes I had toward my son (impatience being one).Fast forward now two years and we have our moments (don't we all!?!) but I must say that the one thing I would tell a family who has just pulled their child(ren) out of school to homeschool would be to not compare your method of schooling with that of public school methods- do not run your home like a traditional school. Let the Lord lead your family, guide you in how your child(ren) learn best, and allow for your children to flourish under your gentle instruction. We are so, so blessed to have the awesome priviledge to stay at home with our children and teach them.[]

Dear Meredith,
Tonight I looked up an author on my phone. A friend loaned me a book today about politics and I wanted to learn about the author before I let her thoughts in my mind and heart, so I Googled her. Afterwards I decided to Google myself. I do that on rare occasions just to see what is out there in cyberspace. I found your very kind review. You got the essence of what I wanted to do with Celebrate the Savior. Thank you very much. I' m thrilled about your family's experience. Charlene
